This training program will provide the Project Managers with the essential fundamentals of project management so that they can formalize or improve their project management methods and techniques. Throughout a number of practical workshops, the attendees will practice managing the schedule and budget of projects with different scale. This training program will deal with the principles of Project Scheduling & Cost Control and bears one credit in the quest towards PMP® certification. The Core areas of training covered will be addressed in each module.


At the end of the course, students will be able to:


  • Use the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to develop a project schedule.
  • Calculate schedules using PERT/CPM.
  • Identify, assign, and tabulate resource requirements.
  • Predict costs and durations using different rules of thumb and estimation techniques
  • Develop a time-phased project budget
